Elly De La Cruz absolutely took over for the Cincinnati Reds as they held on to a 10-8 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. De La Cruz had two home runs, one of which was an inside the park homer, scored a total of four times, had a steal, and another single becoming the first baseball player to ever have that stat line. Elly called game and willed the Reds to a victory over the hated Brewers. Also, the Reds almost collapsed because Graham Ashcraft melted down, but the real reason the Reds handed the momentum to the Brewers for a bit stems from inactivity from the dugout.
