The Cincinnati Reds have a four-game winning streak because of their good pitching. They shut down the Los Angeles Dodgers and then they shut down the St Louis Cardinals on Monday. Nick Lodolo looked good in his first start in almost three weeks, but Fernando Cruz, Sam Moll, and Lucas Sims showed why this bullpen is built for playoff baseball. Also, we got an encouraging update on TJ Friedl and the Reds have a chance to win their second series in a row with Andrew Abbott facing the Cardinals and Kyle Gibson. Who will the Reds select with the No. 2 overall pick? The Cincinnati Reds are finding new ways to lose. The Reds fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 on Monday night as Alexis Diaz blew the save. Diaz and Fernando Cruz are guys the Reds should trust the most out of the bullpen but they were the reason the Reds lost on Monday. The Cincinnati Reds once again saw the slump kill another game as they lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Overshadowing that loss was the gain of TJ Friedl returning to the lineup. Friedl being back opens up a lot of possibilities for the Reds, especially against right-handed pitchers.
