They are forced to face the many dangers of the pioneer life,  as well as the danger of Mexican invasion and Indian depredations. All while preaching and starting churches on the frontier of Texas.

N. first arrived in Texas in 1835 while Texas was still part of Mexico and before the famous battle of the Alamo. In part one we discuss some of the reasons Z.N. decided to move to Texas as well as his poor health and his first trip to Texas.
