It’s a new year, so how can we use this year to make a real difference? How can this one be different? In this message, we will talk about the best way to make a meaningful difference in the world that will last.

Shepherds? Really? Why would God announce the birth of the Messiah to shepherds of all people? Why not priests or governors? In this message, we will answer some of those questions and find out how we can be confident in God’s plan.

Despite our “Silent Night” view of the nativity, it was anything but peaceful and certainly didn’t go to plan. But out of that chaotic story came the greatest gift ever given to humanity… ironically, peace.

Great, we are free to pursue holiness, but what are the rules? There are always rules, right? How do we judge ourselves and others? In this message, we will investigate what Paul says about a rules-based approach to faith and what it does to us.

If we are to reckon ourselves dead to sin, there must be a better way to think about who we are. Paul gives us some really good news at the end of chapter 6 and, in this message, we will discuss what it means for us every day.

We have been justified before God by Jesus, but what do we do about our ongoing sin? How do we think about ourselves and our relationship with God as we move forward? What does He want from us?In this study, we will look more deeply at our perspective on sin and God’s will for our lives.

Whether or not the Good News transforms us is up to us. We have a choice to make. We can live in the bad news reality or we can live in the good news reality. In this message, we will talk about the difference.

Knowing and accepting the Good News is huge, but what difference does it make after that? In Romans 5, Paul begins turning the corner from talking about what the Gospel is, to explaining how it transforms us every day.

Hard work is rewarded with wages because a person has earned it. But when it comes to heaven and righteousness that cannot be earned. You cannot work to achieve them. They are gifts from God that can only be received by faith. Today we see how Abraham not only became the Father of Judaism and Christianity but also how he was accounted righteousness through belief in God.

It’s finally time for some good news for the Romans and us too! Even though there is no way for us to measure up to God’s righteousness, He has made another way. In this message, we will examine what this way is and why it was necessary.

If the Law was incapable of saving Israel, what was the point? Was a Jewish person any different than anyone else? This was a big question for Paul’s readers at the time, and the answers to those questions matter to us too. In this study, we will look at what Paul is teaching and what it means for us.

If obviously sinful people and apparently virtuous people are not right before God, what about devoutly religious people? Surely they hold a special position and are justified based on their lifestyle and influence? In this message, we will examine what Paul says about this group who may seem immune to God’s judgment.

Some people might look at the “bad news” from last week and think, “Whew! Thank goodness I don’t do those things!” But we don’t get off the hook that easily. This week, we will talk about the bad news for people who think they are immune to God’s judgment because of their moral superiority.

Which news do you want first? The good news, or the bad news? Well, Paul chose the bad, but that’s because he needed to set the stage for the need for the gospel. In this message, we will discuss this bad news and what it means for us.

Wanna jump right into Romans?! Not so fast. Before we get too far with our new study, it’s essential to look at the circumstances surrounding one of the most significant letters ever written. We will look at the author, audience, and intent of one of the pillars of the New Testament.

One of the most essential things in our relationships is our ability to depend on each other. A non-committal relationship is no relationship at all. In this message, we will talk about how important our commitment to God is and how vital our commitments to each other are.

Over time, even the best relationships can get stale. God continually has new ground for us to cover in our relationship with Him and does in our relationships with each other as well. In this message, we will talk about the importance of continuing our pursuit of deeper and deeper relationships.

What if we told you that all problems you’ve ever had in relationships come from one thing? Would you believe it? Well, they do. The solution is so simple but so hard. In this message, we will talk about one of the most important keys to relationships that honor God.

It’s easy to get lost in the weeds of our relationships. That’s true not only for our relationship with other people but also for our relationship with God. In this message, we will discuss a broader perspective that will lead us to more confidence and joy in our relationships.

To have healthy relationships requires us to choose who we will honor. Making the right choice makes all the difference. Today, we start a series about how to honor God in our relationships by discussing the importance of openness.
