How and when to clarify cards
02/10/2014 Duration: 40minBecky, Cindy, and I sat down and had a quickie lesson on how and when to open up a card, use clarification cards, and what expansion cards are (and when to use them). Too many readers make the mistake of trying to clarify a card before they verify its accuracy in the first place. Along the way we found a small problem and fixed it live on the air (miscommunications in reading over the phone). Short but good lesson. Let me know if you have ANY questions. Thanks for being here!

Attune Magazine appearance with Mary Nale
02/10/2014 Duration: 01h01minI was interviewed by Mary Nale for Attune Magazine. We sat down for an hour and I taught some Tarot games. I had fun and it seemed that we all had a good time exploring the Tarot through interactive games. All of this can be found in Advanced Tarot Secrets, but here it is, free; well an overview of a few of the games in the book, with live examples of us playing them. Take notes! Thanks for being here.

New tarot game!
02/10/2014 Duration: 39minFree lesson series continues: I paid for Cindy's tuition today. We sat down and played a new tarot game at her request. She was having trouble opening up cards and wanted to play "What does this card mean?" from Advanced Tarot Secrets. I also answered Allen's question on why some cards are staged and others are more organic. No one knows with absolute certainty the answer to this, but I gave the answer I have found to ring most true after years of research—and I gave references to verify this and to conduct further study. We also played a few rounds of "The never-ending story," a game I learned years ago. We used to play this game at the Eye of the Cat. All in all a quick lesson on how to improve your skills at reading the cards like a pro. Let me know if you have ANY questions.

Another Private lesson: pre-spreadwork explained step-by-step
02/10/2014 Duration: 01h37minWow! A triple episode! Becky and I sat down and helped three students learn pre-spreadwork. Pre-spreadwork is the most important part of any reading you do. It is the bread and butter of professional psychics, and it is the difference between vague, general readings that could apply to anyone, and spot-on, accurate, highly detailed and precise readings. In this episode we cover—step-by-step—exactly what to do and how to do it. And then we cover it again, and again, and one last time. This is some of the best-kept secrets of the super-professionals, so we made sure that we spelled it out explicitly. This is what you learn in private study with me. No fluff—only techniques which produce results. Thanks for being here.

Just a few questions (I was surprised that there were not more questions) and then we had some time so we a game from Advanced Tarot Secrets. This was a 4-person mini-group lesson you get to sit in on. Thanks for being here :-)

Those darned court cards!
02/10/2014 Duration: 51minHey everybody! I sat down with Paul and Cathy today as part of my "free tarot lessons to anyone!" series. Both Paul and Cathy had EXCELLENT questions about court cards showing up in a spread. I also explained the concept of the pecking order in every spread you cast--just in case you haven't heard that one before. We covered a bit on kings and queens, but I think the real value of this lesson is what we covered on pages and knights. If you have ANY questions on this just post a comment. Thanks for being here!

2014 resolution / manifestation part 3
02/10/2014 Duration: 58minBecky sat down with me and let me rant on how to stop wishing and start getting. This is the "anti-seminar guru" episode. Warning: It does have expletives, but only when they are necessary to get you to wake up and take charge of your life, and stop doing things that do not work.

Hey! Want to read professionally? Here's how:
02/10/2014 Duration: 41minRenee, one of my private students, sat down with me and let me rant for 42 minutes on how to get your own psychic business going, and how not to. We didn't cover everything (I still need to cover working in a shop), but we covered what every reader needs to know if they are going to survive in business. I have been there. I have been in business since I was a kid. I share the 40+ years of experience I have had to help you avoid mistakes and get yourself as far as you can. None of this is legal, financial, or medical advice, so do not construe it as such, and always seek competent professional advice before doing anything. Above all, use common sense. Thanks for being here.

02/10/2014 Duration: 50minBecky and I sat down and I ranted for 45 minutes on exactly what you need to do to make your goals come to life in 2014. Seriously powerful lessons here today. I had a meeting with a committee right before the podcast, so I was a bit on edge (sorry). Listen to this episode twice (or more). There is a LOT of valuable information that will change your life here--and it is all free. Thanks for being here.

Cat talk!
02/10/2014 Duration: 01h04minYes, you read that right. Becky and I sat down and talked about . . . cats. I got saddled with a tiny fuzzball of electricity; a 12-week old kitten who still has no name. It was an early birthday present and Becky talked me through some early stage advice. Then we talked for about 45 minutes on manifestation, how to do it, what works, what NOT to do . . . All in all an extremely informative lesson, and some stuff about cats. Please leave your comments below.

Visiting with Debbi
02/10/2014 Duration: 52minDebbi (longtime student of mine) and I sat down and had a casual chat—this is a bit different from the usual format. I wanted to see what Debbi had been up to with the tarot over the past few months. We talked about a few topics of interest and I gave a few new mini lessons, but this episode is mostly information on how to give BETTER readings, not new instructional advice on how to learn the tarot. Thanks for being here. Ask me any questions you have. Please take notes. There is a lot of good information in this episode, but it is a bit subtle.

02/10/2014 Duration: 44minBecky is back and she just gave 4 readings at a Tarot party—and she NAILED THEM. I ask her how, and what worked, and we cover pre-spreadwork and post-spreadwork, how she dealt with a problem client and still wow'ed her. You will learn how to give expert-level readings and see how Becky had her breakthrough moments (and got tips too!) This is a must-listen episode. Ask questions. We are here to help.

How to ask the right questions: Cathy's private lesson (listen in!)
02/10/2014 Duration: 41minCathy, one of my private students, was kind enough to let me record a mini-lesson to use as a podcast. We covered how to ask the right questions, how to elicit the information you need from your clients so that you can ask the best questions, and how to figure out exactly what question you should be asking in the first place to give world-class readings. We also covered the strengths of various spreads and what questions work best with different spreads. Thanks for listening! Please take notes! Post any questions or thoughts in comments below please.

The Doubt monster—Amanda's private lesson
02/10/2014 Duration: 01h16minAmanda agreed to sit down and have a private lesson recorded. We covered quite a few things (the 30 minute podcast ran 1 hour and 15 minutes!) but essentially we addresses how to overcome the doubt monster: what happens when your yappy voice (conscious awareness) tries to convince you that you can't read, or it tries to take over the job of your intuition, or it overanalyzes the cards and demands information instantly. These happen to ALL of us. There is no regulated system of training tarot readers to battle the cynicism of the logical mind in its attempts to prove that this is all real (or not). This is why I created the exercises and the games in the books (you know which ones by now) and I take Amanda by the hand in this episode and help her overcome this problem—AND—I help her to understand the process, so that she never has to fear it again, and she can help other as well. Of course I do all of this on three hours of sleep after pulling an all-nighter working on the new astrology book. So, in other wor

All about Significators—AND Spread Protagonists
02/10/2014 Duration: 53minI had Becky on again, as she is being trained to teach. We talked about significators in great detail: what they are, how and WHY (and when) to use them. We talked about HOW to choose a significator and the differences between single, double, and multiple significators, and three different ways of using them. Take notes. This is a quick but deep study into how the pros get the results we do. Then we went over a concept I teach to all of my private students, but not the public (until now), called the spread protagonist (or prtagonista! depending on the time of day I am explaining it). This is revolutionary and not used nearly enough. I want everyone in the world to start using spread protagonists and as a result give far more accurate readings. Match that up with multiple significators and you are beginning to read like a master. Questions? Please comment below.
