Issue 32: 2 B A Chronicler
17/03/2011 Duration: 52minThis week on the Wonderbread Chronicles, Pkmn Trainer Jason defeats the third and fourth gym leader. And catches a Sandile. Sandile, for those not in the know, is a Ground/Dark baby Crocodile. He's the hippest Pokemon around, and joins Pkmn Trainer Jason's team. Also in this episode, some cheap shots at a charity video gaming group that are totally uncalled for. What do I have to say? You'll have to listen. The podcast ends with talk about competitive video games and television, holding listeners at gunpoint until they call up major television networks so StarCraft II can get some serious airtime. No Pokemon were harmed in the making of this podcast. Follow me on twitter!

Issue 31: Wonderbread Chronicles, Pt. 1
10/03/2011 Duration: 51minIn this week's issue of PB & Jason, I phone it in. Really. Rather than prepare a thought-provoking, intelligent podcast, I go the easy way, and tell some of the early chronicles of my journey through Pokemon White. Afterward, I make good use of my experience visiting Orlando theme parks to name my (false) top interactive theme park attraction, then my actual #1 interactive ride. All-in-all, Issue 31 is likely to be interesting at worse, so click play, sit back, and enjoy the ride.

Issue 30: Hablabhlah
03/03/2011 Duration: 59minIf you didn't know, today Apple announced the second version of the iPad was on its way to retail stores, going on sale March 11th. In this issue of PB & Jason, I give some brief details and share some thoughts on the platform. Afterward, there's some coverage of Sony's NGP briefing, meant for developers attending GDC. It was mostly a dev-centric presentation, so I bring out some of the more relevant and interesting bullet points for listeners. The main focus of this week's issue was Nintendo's GDC keynote. Rather than focusing on the handful of games Iwata mentioned, I center in on the concepts of which Iwata spoke, including his quote from my oblivious nemesis, Jeremy Slaczka. This issue rounds down with some Explodemon talk. I recently finished playing through a review download of the game, and figured PB & Jason would be the first place to hear my thoughts about it. No GameCubes were taped together in the making of this podcast. Follow me on twitter!

Issue 29: Viewtiful!
24/02/2011 Duration: 40minThis issue of PB & Jason is brought to you by the letters M, V, and C. That's a roundabout way of saying I talk about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 some more in today's podcast. In addition, there's a brief bit about the "Anonymous" troll who chose to talk about my Marvel vs. Capcom 3 review, because why not? The second portion of the podcast contains some talk about how Cubivore could become the ultimate game, followed by a bit more discussion of Dragon Quest VI, including my personal ranking of the DQ games I've played. No users were banned in the making of this podcast. Follow me on twitter!

Issue 28: Loosely-Related-to-Valentine's-Day Edition
17/02/2011 Duration: 01h13minIn this issue of the highly-collectable PB & Jason podcast, we see action, violence, and non-romance! I talk about hunting in Cubivore, the ups, the downs, and what makes the game special. There's mention of hunting down the "Valenslimes Day" release of Dragon Quest VI, and a bit of talk about Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Of course, nearer the beginning there's a few bits of random news, this week, mostly dealing with Sony. Check it all out and enjoy this issue of PB & Jason! Issue 27: Sneak Peek
03/02/2011 Duration: 43minThe NGP is here! And by here, I mean on my PC monitor, but only sometimes. This issue of the podcast deals with it. Things like comparisons between it and the 3DS, launch price, and my opinion of the device's potential performance are all discussed. Afterward, I get a little mean and rag on a handful of gaming publications out there for a handful of opinions, though the main opinion piece discussed occurred in the '90s. Eerily related, the Konami code comes up, and eventually, the issue of PB & Jason concludes. No GamePROs were hurt in the making of this podcast. Listen here! Follow me on twitter!

Issue 26: Behind the Scenes
19/01/2011 Duration: 45minIn this issue of PB & Jason, we get a sneak, behind the scenes look at PB & Jason Season 2. Oh, and there's also a full-length standard episode in Issue 26th, too. In fact, there's Sim City SNES, all the Final Fantasy XIII titles you could ever want, and a bit of Donkey Kong Country Returns, too. The issue ends with some unpleasant 3DS truths in preparation for tomorrow's big event. With that, it's time to talk about the next game my listeners pick that I play and talk about. Does anyone have any suggestions? Just don't recommend Sim City SNES again, because, c'mon. I just played that one. Donkey Kong was killed in the making of this podcast. Several times. Listen here! Issue 25: Conclusion
15/01/2011 Duration: 47minIn this Issue of PB & Jason, we say goodbye. We say goodbye to the first volume of the podcast. We bid sad, solemn farewell and reminisce on all of the memories that came along with PB & Jason Volume 1. This issue contains talk from all corners of the gaming globe, to blaming video games for violence to PS3 hacking. PS3 processing power to 3DS power source. MicroSDHC memory cards to the phones which don't work well with them. Splosion Man and Maxsplosion gets a mention and an odd connection between Splosion Man and Pac Man is detailed. The issue ends with some Kingdom Hearts: Re:coded and Rock Band talk, rounding out the very first volume of PB & Jason. No Supermen were harmed in the making of this podcast. Listen here! Issue 24: iPB & Jason
12/01/2011 Duration: 47minIn today's issue of PB & Jason, there's a lot of talk about the latest 3DS news out there. Oh, and right, I do give my view, yet again, of the iPhone as an owner of an Android phone, taking in perspective both devices as gaming machines. Beyond that, I rumor-monger about the absence of PSP2 and PSPhone news and mention 3D TVs, focusing on how they pertain to gaming. This issue of PB & Jason also marks the beginning of a new, unnamed feature where I play a recommended game and talk about it! Only I haven't played the game yet, I only talk specifications about the whole deal. This time? It's going to be SimCity (SNES). What will it be next time? You decide! Hooray! No iPhones were purchased in the making of this podcast. Listen here! Follow me on twitter! Music by Kathrine Theidy.

Issue 23: #IPaidMoreForRockBandThanColumbusNova
05/01/2011 Duration: 50minIn this issue of PB & Jason, we see lots and lots of really incredibly amazing stuff. To begin, I talk about the whole Rock Band/music game trainwreck. That goes on for quite some time. We follow up with some quick impressions of a few WiiWare titles, namely BIT.TRIP BEAT and Ghost Mania. This particular issue of the podcast concludes with a critical mention of material published in Entertainment Weekly. No music video game companies were purchased in the making of this podcast. Issue 22: Merry Christmas Rant!
03/01/2011 Duration: 52minI'm back! Back from Christmas vacations and visiting family. Back from the brink of insanity. And in this issue, I rant! No, these rants aren't as intense as what might be heard in the Scribblenauts Podcast, but they're about serious things, especially the one about Sony Blu-Ray players. For the rest of the episode, I talk a bit about arcade machines, PS3s, and doing things yourself. The Ultracade-MAME conversion begins, as does PS3 hacking. Get ready... for another issue of PB & Jason! (Hooray!) My poor cat, Frank, was left alone, and emotionally harmed during my trip, which was discussed in the making of this podcast. Listen here! Issue 21: Rhymes with "Airsick Chickpea"
12/12/2010 Duration: 58minWell, aside from our mystery game, in this issue I talk about two Naruto games I've been playing lately. Though the bulk of the ranting is about whatever game might come to mind rhyming with "Airsick Chickpea," there's also a minor rant about the Spike TV Video Game Awards. Oh, and an open invitation for your two cents about said awards! Catch all that, but not the bag of chips right here, right now, in PB & Jason Issue #21! Some animals were harmed in the making of my sandwich. Listen here! Subscribe to Our Feed! Follow me on twitter! Music by Kathrine Theidy.

Issue 19: Sonic Boom
16/11/2010 Duration: 47minToday's issue of PB & Jason features Sonic Colors! In addition, there's a bit of news about Metroid: Other M, The Conduit 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character reveals, and Kinect sales. Just a note here: I don't actually like the original Ice Climbers game, even though I like the characters. No, animals haven't harmed me since I berated the latest Sonic title. Listen here! Issue 18: Back
11/11/2010 Duration: 27minPB & Jason is back after a very brief hiatus for an even more brief issue! This time, I talk about PixlBit, in general, welcoming new staff member, Nate Hascup. Also, Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions on the DS and... Sonic Colors! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a light issue of PB & Jason. No notes were created in the making of this podcast. Listen here! Issue 17: Love Kinection
04/11/2010 Duration: 53minOk! To celebrate the November 4th launch of Kinect, I thought I'd create a podcast that's nearly all about Kinect, like I did with the Move! Unfortunately, I couldn't do that for you. I'd apologize, but Microsoft has placed embargoes on most Kinect information, including game reviews, which made up the bulk of where I got Move information from last time. So, I cobbled together as much as I could, and came out with a very solid Kinect-oriented podcast, with the promise that in the next few weeks, I'll follow it up again for all you holiday and Christmas shoppers. Enjoy it! Like always, you can find the show's (elaborate) notes in the forum thread. I actually ate some Skittles earlier today. Does that count as harming an animal? Issue 16: PB & NBA Jam
30/10/2010 Duration: 53minTime for PB & Jason! This issue is devoted to just a few things, most notably Keiji Inafune's Capcom departure, NBA Jam, and Rock Band 3. Download the new issue, tune in, and as always, weigh your own thoughts in our comment section or even email me, Jason Ross, at jasonr_AT_pixlbit_DOT_com. Like always, you can find the show's (brief) notes in the forum thread. No basketballs were lit on fire in the making of this podcast. Jam to PB & Jason here. Subscribe to Our Feed! Issue 15: Band Together
25/10/2010 Duration: 56minThis time, PB & Jason is back and in full force... As in not about one specific game! Surprise! There's a press release early on in this one. Lots of news and news opinions after that, along with a little bit of Wii, Kinect, and Move talk to go along with that. Follow it all up with a teeny bit of talk about RUSE, Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow, and Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, along with an appeal for subject-oriented listener mail! What makes a series a series? What doesn't? When is a series a franchise? Is Kirby's Epic Yarn part of the Kirby series? I discuss these ideas a little, but be sure to write in your opinion, too, in the comments or in emails. As always, it's jasonr_AT_pixlbit_DOT_com. If you can't figure that out, leave a comment and I'll help you do it. Like always, you can find the show's (brief) notes in the forum thread. Issue 14: Scribblenauts
21/10/2010 Duration: 01h15minAll right, folks. This is it. The last podcast where I spend any real lengthy focus on Scribblenauts, Super Scribblenauts, and any 5th Cell work for the foreseeable future. It begins with a more personal opinion of Super Scribblenauts and the flaws therein, elaborating on points made in my review. After a brief break, though, I transition to what happened before Super Scribblenauts, back to the hype around the original title, and analyze a brief snippet of an interview Joystiq had with Jeremy Slaczka. In this particular issue, most of the podcast was done without notes, but what was used can be found here, along with a random compilation of various Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts links. No tasty babies were harmed during the making of this podcast. Can you summon "R-E-S-P-E-C-T"? Subscribe to Our Feed! Follow me on twitter! Music by Kathrine Theidy.

Issue 13: I'm Not Going to Note You to Death...
15/10/2010 Duration: 01h03minShow notes! That's right! Show notes! Let me say that again. Show notes! After I type this, I plan to copy and paste the list of notes and sources I used for this podcast on to the forum thread, found here. Generally, this is a news-oriented issue of the podcast, though there's a brief mention of Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow at the end, from start to near-finish, it's all about the tons of news we've seen lately. Listen, share your two cents, and have a good time. Year over year, this podcast has increased hits an infinite number of times. Note Again! Subscribe to Our Feed! Follow me on twitter!
