Right? Paul has some interesting things to say about this line of thinking in Romans 6 and how we as followers of Jesus are to live like Jesus.

But what happens when we do not live holy lives? Good News is that Jesus, who is our means of forgiveness, continues to be our means of forgiveness and is our helper with the Father.
