Based on Romans 14:13-23 - We will be taking a hard look at sin and saving faith. We usually think of sin as a failure to do what we should (omission) or doing what we shouldn’t (commission). We’ll consider the scariest definition of sin, as found in the Bible. This definition and associated teaching will help us to know what sin is in the gray areas of life.

“In 3, I’m Up!” Easter message based on John 2:12-25. These words were said by Jesus early in His public ministry. He repeated them later. The words were judged impossible by those who heard them. The words were used out of context at His trial to convict Him. They were flung at Him mockingly when He was on the cross. And they were the words the disciples came back to as fulfilled following the Resurrection. What are the words? “In 3 days, this body is rising up.” For Easter church 2016, let’s examine the promise, the misunderstanding, and the fulfillment of these words, and what these words promise for all Christians.

Based on Matthew 21:1-11 and Exodus 12:3-6 - Palm Sunday is when Christians celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. However, for the Jews, it was lamb selection day proceeding the Passover later in the week. It is no accident that the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world enters Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to shouts of “Hosanna” meaning “save us now.” He will. And He will do so as the Lamb who is slain just as the Passover lamb will be slain later that week on Passover night. Lamb selection day is to Palm Sunday what the Passover lamb is to the crucifixion of Jesus. Come along Sunday for some deep learning and a take home gift!

This Sunday is Day 43 and Message 7 in the Transformed series. God is transforming us in our spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational, financial, and vocational health because every square inch of us belongs to Jesus Christ. Sunday’s message is “Facing Giants in Life and Work.” There is a surprise twist to the story of Goliath. Goliath was not as imposing as he seemed. Meanwhile, David was better armed than he seemed. Let’s watch and learn as the Lord’s guy, empowered, encouraged, and determined to act on God’s behalf, goes against the forces of evil. These lessons are for work and for life. We all face giants. Series' Memory Verse: Romans 12: 2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." This Week’s Memory Verse: Colossians 3: 23 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men”

This Sunday is Day 36 and Message 6 in the Transformed series. God is transforming us in the areas of our spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational, financial, and vocational health because every square inch of us belongs to Jesus Christ. Sunday’s Message is “How I See and Use Money.” We’ll hear four Biblical principles on what NOT to do with money, and five positive principles on money. The bottom line is Christians are stewards, not owners. Series' Memory Verse: Romans 12: 2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." This Week’s Memory Verse: Proverbs 3: 9-10 – “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

This Sunday, I will continue with my "Fifty Days of Transformation" series. This week's message is Week 5, "Transformed In My Relational Health," and is based on Genesis 2: 20 through Genesis 3: 1-19, and I Peter 4: 8.Series' Memory Verse: Romans 12: 2: "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Peter 4:8: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

This week I will preach on “How to Deal with How You Feel.” How does a Christian deal with emotions? On the one hand, they are God given. On the other, they are not an accurate instrument for judging right and wrong; and when uncontrolled, lead to chaos. So, how then should we understand and allow ourselves to feel, but not be controlled by emotion? The Bible has much to say on this topic. Let’s discover what it means to be transformed by Christ in the area of our emotions. This week’s memory verse is Matthew 11:28: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Why memorize the Bible? Isn’t that a tiny child thing? Psalm 119: 11 reminds adults and kids, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

Message: Mental Health: Change Your Mind / Change Your Life based on Romans 12:2. Sunday is Day 15 and Message 3 of 50 Days of Transformation, a spiritual campaign that utilizes the best of spiritual growth tools; preaching of God's Word, combined with small group, and personal devotions. We don't change for the long haul by trying to change feelings or behaviors. But, we can change when we change our mind which reshapes our emotions and our actions. So, change your mind, change your life.

Pathway is studying the transforming power of God in our spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational, financial, and career lives. When Jesus takes us to Himself, He wants all of us. This week we study physical health. It sounds like this will be a “get on a treadmill” message. Is it?
