The Lakes International Comic Art Festival is an annual event held in the picturesque city of Kendal in the Lake District, one that is held in multiple venues - art installations, libraries, schools, shopping centres and more - over the course of a weekend, similar in scale (and, indeed, reputation) to the European benchmark for such events

s08 INCIDENTAL EPISODE: Scott Snyder Talks 'Nocternal' During the difficult time of lockdown, the comics industry - as did all of us - found itself in limbo, facing the even harder challenge of how it would resume business and keep telling stories once society struggled to get back on its feet. Scott Snyder and thousands of other writers and artists found themselves looking towards alternative ways to maintain the connection with their fans and readers, as well as generate income for the tough time ahead. Scott, alongside his co-creator and artist Tony S. Daniel, has turned to crowdfunding to help create Best Jackett Press, an imprint that will eventually publish through Image Comics a new high-concept title NOCTERNAL - the book will see print in the beginning of 2021 but, for the first time ever, Scott will unveil script pages of his work along with WIP and original B&W artwork for the book in a special Collectors Edition to be released before the end of the year.
