It’s a new episode of Live and Active Pop Culture, and Dane and Pete are very excited for Saundra Kerry to be back. First, they get to the bottom of where in the world she was. They also welcome a new “friend” who no one can stand, Will Fortner, to the basement. To be honest, it’s unclear if he actually ever left.  Some of the topics discussed this week are Bruce Jenner’s big interview (head’s up, male pronouns are still used in this interview as Bruce has made clear that is what he wants for the time being), and the Kylie Jenner lip challenge, much to Pete Chaunce’s chagrin. It's just Dane and Chaunce in the basement this week with very special guest, Megan! It’s on Netflix!   It’s a hair-heavy week on LAPC, which also means it’s been an incredibly slow pop culture news week, so we turn to the 1989 CLASSIC Teenwitch for our entertainment. Our friend Lisa, who is an avid Teenwitch fan and resident expert to discuss what exactly this movie was about, joins us. While we’re at it, we try to dissect and explain to Derek what a cult classic is (we still aren’t entirely sure). Finally Derek shows his patriotism in another round of “Derek Doesn’t Know the Words!” and we try to keep you up to date at the water cooler with The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (seriously, it’s so good.) It is a sad day in the Live and Active Pop Culture basement; Dane has lost his Oscar bet with longtime rival Caitlin. In this episode we wrap up the Oscars and give our thoughts on what amounted to a pretty boring ceremony.
