Of Steam, Steel And Murder

We return after a long break to our Dresden files games played using the FATE Accelerated rules set by Evil Hat. In this session we have a guest player: Mr. James Spahn (check out his blog here: http://halflingsluck.blogspot.com/), he of many RPG writing credits. Our usual cast returns: Stephen, Jamas, Michael, and Nick. If the announced session numbers throw you off, that's all my fault. Whenever I do a 'session 0' at some point in the numbering scheme I lose track! A further note, we've played a few more sessions after this one and it is unfortunate, but life and work will keep Mr. Spahn from returning to our game sessions for now.

Another foray into the PbtA style games - this time via the lens of Action Movies! I'm joind by : John, Stephen, and Joshua as we make mockery of a popular 80s trope. A shorter than usual episode with much fail happening on the internet. We still manage to get in about an hour and a half of game time. We are using the Indiana Jones system by TSR for this one with some 'house rules' in effect. Kym, Tod, and John make up the cast in this episode.

A new cast of players to the podcast, but these folks have been playing in my 'Sunday Old School Adventures' for years now. This group runs through classic games produced by TSR and we've played: Top Secret S.I., Marvel Superheroes, Star Frontiers, and Gangbusters prior to our current Indiana Jones game. Using the Indiana Jones RPG by TSR we play a Noir, dark city vigilante game. Players were John and Todd (from the Sunday Skypers podcast https://sunday-skypers.podbean.com/) and Kim.

We return to the Pigsmoke Campus as the Book of Pure Evil is released! Players were : Nick, Joshua, and Marcus. It's been a while between recordings! Hope you folks enjoy this Powered by the Appocalypse game.

We start with Joshua and Stephen, add Marcus ... and Stephen drops. Rough night for 'tech but we push on with the next story in our PigSmoke setting! PigSmoke is a 'Powered by the Apocalypse' system game created by Certain Death games.

After over a month we get back to playing games. The Dresden Files Alaska Chronicles returns tonight with : Stephen, Michael, Nick, and Jamas.

Pardon the long silence on the podcast. I've been very busy at work and we haven't recorded very often in the last month and I have not had the time to dig into the archives to post any of our prior games.
