Pastor Lloyd is nearing the end of a series in the first eleven chapters of Genesis, titled “Foundations”. As we continue in chapter eleven today, we see open rebellion against God. The events we are looking at here took place thousands of years ago, and yet we can plainly see that not much has changed since then. Oh, we are much more sophisticated now, with our technology and so on, but mankind today is still in open rebellion against God. What are the consequences?

Lloyd has been sharing a series in the first eleven chapters of Genesis, and we have reached the final chapter in our series, chapter eleven. It wasn’t long after the flood that men stopped making themselves available to God and began to pursue their own agenda. What a shame to use what God so graciously gives for our own selfish purposes.

In your study through the Scriptures, do you find yourself, skipping over the Genealogies more times than not?  You might even wonder it it’s really relevant to us today.  Well, as we take a look at Genesis ten today, pastor Lloyd Pulley shows us just how significant and amazing these passages are and why we should take a closer look.

It’s time to repopulate the world and today we will learn who our forefathers were. Amazing to think about it isn’t it – the entire would population was wiped out – except for a handful of people in the Ark.

It’s here we see who our descendants are and where many of our religious practices and traditions come from. It’s a sometimes overlooked chapter to be sure, but every word of God’s word is worthy if study. don’t you agree?

The Bible gives us plenty of examples of godly men and women who stumbled into sin. Whether it was King David, the apostle Peter, or as we’ll see today, Noah.  If we’re wise, we’ll learn from their mistakes and not repeat them. Right after a great victory, and spiritual blessing, Noah and his sons fell into sin. 

Today our special Christmas series continues as pastor Lloyd takes us back to that cold night over two thousand years ago. Join us in Matthew chapter one, and Luke chapter two.

Today we’ll consider the most significant birth in the history of man. Over two thousand years ago, a baby was born into the world under the most inauspicious of circumstances. But the life He led and the reason He came to the earth make this event truly life-changing.

 Today we’ll continue our special Christmas series with a message titled “The Alpha and the Omega”. It centers around the greatest person who ever lived - and the reason for the Christmas season - Jesus Christ. We’re looking at who Jesus was when He actually walked the earth, and what He will be when He one day makes His triumphant return to earth. And of course, Lloyd will also share what He is now.

With Christmas Day just six days away, we will continue a special week of Christmas messages today. What better time of year to learn about who Jesus was, who He is, and who He will always be! If you read the newspaper or watch the news on TV, you know all about the recent trend of taking Christ’s name out of the celebration this time of year. Well, it doesn’t really matter who calls it “the Holiday Season” or who calls it “Christmas” - Jesus Christ is still the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

We are going to begin a week of special Christmas messages today, as we prepare to Celebrate Christmas Day next week. Today pastor Lloyd will begin by talking about the prophetical foretelling of Christ’s birth. Why did God choose Bethlehem as the place? Lloyd will be taking us to several places in God’s word, but we will begin in the book of Micah, so find your place there as we bring you a message titled “Little Town of Bethlehem”.

Today on Bridging the Gap, pastor Lloyd Pulley will tackle the issue of Evolution head on as we continue our look at the great flood and Noah’s Ark. Secular science can’t hold a candle to the truths of the Bible - and they are PROVABLE truths as well!

One of the lessons we learn by studying the great flood is that God is serious about sin - and He does have an end to His patience. Those are important things to consider in the year 2023, even as we consider these events of thousands of years ago.

We’re studying the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis, and today we come to a story that’s familiar to every Christian. Noah’s Ark and the great flood were stories we learned in Sunday school and VBS, but what really took place and what the meaning really is may have been lost in all the excitement. Join us in Genesis chapter six as we join pastor Lloyd Pulley for a look at the great flood.

If you created something beautiful and someone came along and smashed it deliberately, how would you react? Well, when God created the earth, and all of the creatures on the earth, and then turned His beautiful creation over to Adam and Eve, they and their descendants messed the whole thing up. Let’s join pastor Lloyd now in Genesis chapter six and see what transpired in the days leading up to the great flood, when God finally had enough of mankind’s sin.

As we look at Genesis chapter six today, we are about to see God destroy everything through a worldwide flood, and pastor Lloyd is going to talk about some of the reasons why God did what He did. 

Lloyd is currently teaching from the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis and we’ll camp out in chapter five once again today.  If you’ll recall, this is where we find the first genealogy in the Bible.  And while we might be tempted to gloss over this section of Scripture, pastor Lloyd believes it to be highly relevant. You’ll see why as you study along!

Today on Bridging the Gap we bring you the Genealogy of Adam all the way to Jesus. And as you’ll see in a moment it’s quite a bit different than Cain’s Genealogy. As we look at this biblical family tree, we are reminded that God was in control of humanity from the very beginning! You’ll find today’s scripture in Genesis five
