ABC's The Middle makes our kids laugh. They like to watch episode after episode chronicling the trials and tribulations of the Heck family.  If you hadn't heard, the Hecks will depart into TV retirement following this final season. When Jack heard this fact, he wanted to make his first podcast about how much he likes The Middle and why you should watch it. The Middle is on ABC on Tuesday nights. Don't be surprised if Jack's language gets a little saltier than you might expect. As he'll tell anyone that stares: he has Autism and Tourette syndrome. So, sometimes he can get a little more colorful with his descriptions than other kids. I'm sure our audience can roll with it.

This episode featured both fast-paced action and story-telling. We absorbed a lot, but we still have plenty of questions about this rich world the Travelers writers have created. Listen in to see if you agree with us (or if you think we're funny).

Next weekend, what is sure to become a legendary movie opens. No, it's not Blade Runner. We're talking about the My Little Pony Movie! No one exudes more excitement about this momentous occasion than our own daughter Elizabeth. She talks about it with anyone and anywhere. It's what she wakes up thinking about and what she goes to sleep dreaming about. God help us all if anything prevents this movie from opening. Caroline and I have seen plenty of MLP episodes, but we've never actually sat and watched one all the way through. Elizabeth helps us out by telling us what we can expect when the movie comes out, and she's quite the expert. The season 2 premiere of broadcast television's favorite drama picked up this week and we thought we should get into the middle of it. After several science fiction and genre shows, we've decided to cover a regular old drama. Here's the setup: Paul only watched a couple episodes of the first season while Caroline watched the whole thing. Paul will have to catch up fast, but he likes what he sees so far!
