सदियों पहले भारत में एक यूनानी दवाखाना महाराजा सिंधिया ने खुलवाया था। ये दवाखाना 'सैफ यूनानी दवाखाना' के नाम जाना जाता है और मेरठ में स्तिथ है। इसका संचालन करने वाले परिवार की आठवीं पीढ़ी आज भी इस दवाखाने को वहां चला रही है। यहाँ के हकीमों को पूर्व में अंग्रेज़ो द्वारा खान साहब की उपाधि मिली थी, जिसे महात्मा गाँधी के आह्वाहन पर उन लोगों ने वापस कर दिया था और उसके बाद ये लोग भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में कूद पड़े थे। यहाँ के हाकिम भारत के तीन राष्ट्रपतियों के चिकित्सक रह चुके हैं और पदम् श्री पुरस्कार भी पा चुके हैं। देश-विदेश से इनके पास मरीज़ आते हैं। यही नहीं इनके परिवार के लोग उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार में मंत्री भी रह चुके हैं।

The festival will run from 15 August to 25 August.
