    Hi there, I'm Jack.  Today's episode begins a long series of episodes that will introduce a lot of new vocabulary related to food.  When I started digging into this I was surprised at how large the subject of food is.  You have your basic foods like apples, oranges, chicken, beef, etcetera.  Then you have all the ingredients used in cooking such as flour, cloves, rosemary, and then you have all the foods you can create or that you might order in a restaurant, such as eggplant casserole with cheese, linguini pasta with clam sauce or cinnamon rolls with cherry filling.  This is a huge topic.                                                                 Anyway, we have many, many, many episodes scripted for this subject.  We won't give them all to you at once or one after the other.  We'll intersperse the series with exam episodes and episodes on other topics.  Evenutally, we'll get through dozens of food programs.  Just so you know what to expect, we just shoot through the food types and we use phrases that y
