General MacArthur's famous Farewell Address to Congress in 1951 contains the line, "In War, There Is No Substitute For Victory." I find this is so in life, There is but One God, One Hope and One Name by which we must be saved. The only way to Victory is through Christ Jesus. This may sound rude to some, but it is the Truth as I have found it by many proofs. God's Word stands true from cover to cover and there is no substitute for Victory in Christ.

Brother Steven Reynolds, Scotty and Timmy came from the Convention at Landmark Tabernacle in VA to visit our church Sunday Night 4/28/2024. Br Timmy preached for us just what we needed to hear to make our calling and election sure. Let it bless you as you hear God's word.

I featured The Cut Ups last week and had to cut a song short to fit it in. I thought I would let the Cut Ups have almost the whole program this week. They were doing a fine work entertaining the folks at Wilson Pines. (I think it was 2010) Much has changed since then, but God is the Same. He never Changes and the value of Knowing Him never goes down.

Three favorites, again from my youth. "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is an English Christmas carol that first appeared in 1739 in the collection Hymns and Sacred Poems. The carol, based on Luke 2:14, tells of an angelic chorus singing praises to God."Away in a Manger" It was long claimed to be the work of German religious reformer Martin Luther, some Germans will not sing it, saying it used to be a beer drinking song. (at least the melody) If you imagine an Umm Pa Pa beat to it, you see their point. But this is a favorite in the English speaking world. "Run Run to the Stable" at least the version I know is an old French Carol. If you have heard it before, please leave a comment.

One of my favorites, Page 110 in the Church Hymnal. About the Rapture, We've read about it, we've heard about it, we've sung about it and one day Soon, We'll Be About It.

Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.Other roads have come and gone, but this Road not built by man, is still in service today. II Samuel Chapter 11 and 12 We find the story of David and Bath–sheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite, and all that happens as David sins a great sin and must be confronted by Nathan the prophet, who risked his life to tell the king that he had sinned. Nathan tells David, "Thou Art the Man!" knowing that the king was surrounded by men with swords who could kill him on a whim. What a brave man was this Nathan the Prophet.

Playing a DM48X Electronic Harmonica with SynthOne (I-pad) set in "St John's Cathedral" Reminds me of my early years in St Matthew Lutheran Church (LCR) in Detroit Michigan where I learned to sing at first. You wouldn't know this was an Harmonica unless told. 

There is a fountain filled with blood, Drawn from Immanuel's veins. And sinners plunged beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains. Lose all their guilty stains. The DM48X does not sound like a harmonica, but takes the place of a MIDI keyboard and allows the player sound like an orchestra or a pipe organ. This is my first effort to use this new instrument in my ministry. I hope it blesses you as it has blessed me. It brings back memories of my childhood and big church organs that bid you think on things above and not on the Earth.
