  • Art from a Changing Arctic

    Between 2003 and 2005 filmmaker David Hinton traveled 2,500 nautical miles on three expeditions aboard the schooner Nooderlicht filming artists, scientists and educators exploring the pristine environment of the High Arctic as part of the Cape Farewell project. The result was Art From a Changing Arctic. The film was screened at ACMI on 04 May 2015, at the conclusion of the film there was a Q&A session and discussion with David Buckland, Artistic Director, Cape Farewell (UK); Caroline Lambert, Climate and Environment Counsellor, Delegation of the European Union to Australia, Canberra; David Karoly, Professor of Meteorology and an ARC Federation Fellow in the School of Earth Sciences, Research Director, Climate and Energy at the EU Centre on Shared Complex Challenges, The University of Melbourne.
