Fifth Sunday of Easter. Making a new church since the old one isn't working out so well. Various cults, and gambling. The other side of the coin: love one another.

Fourth Sunday of Easter. This week Paul encounters authority and deals with it. Stability versus innovation: safeguarding the deposit of faith versus the influx of the Holy Spirit. Re-revealing the truth in a new context.

Third Sunday of Easter. Peter encounters authority, redefines it, and deals with the consequences of his actions. Perseverance in the face of adversity (with a little help). Fighting/quitting/making/being the church.

Second Sunday of Easter. Faith versus verification. Why does life ask me to make the leap of faith? Jesus makes the rounds, but not on the news. Making a bet that might win.

Easter Sunday. Personal revelation and evangelization versus the extravagansa. Resurrecting life after your weekly deaths. Suffering and death seem to be part of the equation.

Passion Sunday. The worst show we've ever done. There might be something here to listen to, but I wouldn't count on it...
