    29/01/2023 Duration: 35min

The Creation, in its glory, mystery, form, and fill, speaks to the glory of God. The creation as described in Genesis is a creation that functions. The creation as we experience it is a creation that falters. The hope of this world is not that this creation is a bygone era of something lost never to be recovered, but rather a creation loved by a creator God who is redeeming and restoring all things. The picture of perfection is not the end, but the beginning, of the life in the world to come. And it is Christ, the creator King, who will ultimately bring all things to their glorious consummation. Preached by Rev. Jeff Heiser

  • The Fruit of the Spirit: Peace (Galatians 5:22-23)

    18/12/2022 Duration: 39min

To think of peace is not to think of a cessation of violence, but rather to think of a fullness of God's presence. We were made for and yearn for that fullness, and in our waiting we resort to filling and numbing with cheap and caustic substitutes. Preached by Brian Habig.

    11/12/2022 Duration: 36min

The presence and fullness of Joy that abides in the Spirit of Christ is a gift of God that flows from satisfaction in who Jesus is and what Jesus provides. The difficulty for the believer is when our satisfaction is misplaced, the source of our joy becomes nothing more than a feeling in a moment. What does abiding joy look like?Preached by Rev. Jeff Heiser.

The primary descriptor of the spiritual fruit outlined in Galatians is not that of a Christian, but firstly of Jesus. By his work in the believer do we see these fruit then begin to take shape. When we think of love, how do we categorize it? Where does it come from and where does it flow to?Preached by Brian Habig.

Paul has strong words for the Galatian church and for us. Preached by Brian Habig.

  • The Goal of Gospel Ministry (Galatians 4:8-20)

    30/10/2022 Duration: 39min

The danger of the gospel, both as an unbeliever and as a believer, is the temptation that following Christ is only effective if you add to it obedience to some other system. The peril that comes along with that is catastrophic. How do we overcome that? We must be vigilant that it is always, only Jesus that is bringing us security and salvation.Preached by Brian Habig.
