In every fight movie, like “The Karate Kid” or “Rocky”, the hero has to train like crazy to get their self ready before the big fight. Part of that preparation process is cutting away the fat that slows them down and removing the distractions that take away their focus. Acts chapter 5 shows us that same preparation scene in the life of the early church.

The new Church has been enjoying exponential growth and God working powerfully among them, but now they come up against opposition for the first time. In Acts 4 we see the steps the church took to continue to be faithful to the Great Commission as a Church on Trial.

One changed life is all it takes sometimes to see the Gospel spread like wild fire. One such example is in Acts chapter 3.
