    On this episode, Mike and Jon are joined by guest co-host Rob Sheridan to talk about a whole heap of things! SPOILERS: Mike and Jon discuss the end of Chapter 6 of Red Dead 2 and their initial thoughts on the epilogue of the game (If you haven't played this far or haven't reached this part of the game Skip ahead to about 12/15 minutes in). Rob and his wife got their hands on a PSVR and what his impressions are of console VR vs PC VR. They also got to experience some VR porn and it sounds wild...rooms may look a bit messy...per Rob's wife Stephanie. Bungie and Activision have parted ways in terms of publishing rights for Destiny 2 which could allow for some interesting new doors to open in terms of the development of the game. Bethesda holds a players account hostage because they accessed a secret area within Fallout 76.     Recorded before we rolled into the new year, Mike and Jon dive into a couple of discussions covering a wide range of topics. Our friend (and soon to be reoccuring guest host) Rob Sheridan sent Mike an early preview of High Level issue one (out February 2019) and without spoiling a thing, Mike gushes about his feelings for the first issue and the world/story it presents to the reader. Mike and Jon hop into their discussion and thoughts on "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" followed by Jon's thoughts on Venom.  Jon also follows up with his thoughts on long awaited release Below, which didn't seem to hit all the things that Jon was hoping for. Mike explains the situation of what took place with Battlestate Games and Eroktic in which they issued 40+ DMCA's against the YouTuber and what it meant for his channel and now where the situation is. Mike spends some time talking about the newly released Insurgency Sandstorm and rounding out the episode is Jon's thoughts on the CW "Elseworlds" and what the CW does right

    Jon and Mike return this week to cover the gamut of things they've missed since they've been away, from where they are and how they feel after having a month with Red Dead Redemption 2 and a short time with Red Dead Online, an incoming SCUM update could bring some big things to the game and help bring some life back to the game. Bethesda continues to shoot themselves in the foot with Fallout 76 and Overkill/Starbreeze seems to be in some particularly hot water. Daredevil gets the axe at Netflix and the Legendary Stan Lee passes on to the next life.

    After 7 or so years Jon and Mike finally have Red Dead Redemption 2 in their hands and holy cow is it one heck of a game. And no need to worry about major spoilers, Mike and Jon have barely made it through to Chapter 3, there's seriously THAT MUCH TO DO! So settle in and let Mike and Jon give you their first 30 hour impressions (yes thats about how long it took them to get to Chapter 3). We'll have a follow up episode that discusses Red Dead in all its spoilery goodness!

  • Talking Nine Inch Nails and DC Vertigo with Rob Sheridan

    On this episode Jon and Mike are joined by former art director for Nine Inch Nails, Rob Sheridan and discuss how he got his start working along side Trent Reznor to help set up the bands first website to directing and editing the live concert footage for "Beside You In Time", most notably is Robs work on the Year Zer0 album. In the midst of all this Rob had another story he wanted to tell, and when DC wanted to reboot Vertigo he was brought on to write for an original story called High Level joined by artists Barnaby Bagenda and Romulo Fajardo Jr. While we couldn't get TO indepth about High Level there was still quite a bit to talk about, having just returned from NYCC. Rob also spends a little time talking with Mike and Jon about the recent issues hitting Marvel with the firing of Chuck Wendig and the issue at hand with ComicsGate.

    On this episode Jon and Mike return to talk about Red Dead Redemption 2's latest gameplay trailer and Rockstar's mounting markting information regarding Red Dead 2....(Jon - 3!) , Jon finished Spider-Man and REALLY liked it minus some of the repative moments and of course those fantastic moments with Mary Jane...but this is Jon's FAVORITE iteration of Spider-man, and THAT's saying something. Jon spends some time with Black Ops 4 (nay FALLING IN LOVE with CoD Blops 4). Jon and Mike talk a bit about TellTale games shuttering its doors and what this means for the last of their games (including The Walking Dead). Mike and Jon spend a bit of time talking about Overkill's The Walking Dead beta and Bethesda's upcoming Beta for Fallout 76, and the upcoming fan made mod, Fallout New California, a story set 21 years prior to Fallout New Vegas and connects to the Lore of Fallout 2 and New Vegas.     In this episode Mike talks about the launch of SCUM into Early Access on Steam and what he's been doing (he's actually streaming FOR REAL and just recently got affiliated!), Jon talks about the Cyberpunk gameplay reveal and not wanting to spoil TOO much for himself. Jon's been playing Spider-Man on PS4 and thoroughly enjoying it...outside playing as Mary Jane. Jon and Mike cover the new DC Streaming Service, our thoughts on the Teen Titans live action show, the announcement of the return of Star Wars: the Clone Wars and Mike's thoughts of what the initial season should have been subtitled. They also cover Grant Morrison writing for Green Lantern, Tom King requiring a body guard at SDCC because of the death threats he received over the Marriage of Bruce Wayne/Batman and their thoughts on comic book fans, or fans in general, who threaten creators. They cover some of Image's releases with Rob Guillory's Farmhand and John Layman's upcoming Levithan and Jon brings Geoff Johns' Three Jokers story. Mike discusses more of the blurred lines of Preacher (The comic and the TV Show). EA was kinda humdrum, Ubisoft is giving us another Division and Assassins Creed, Bethesda announces an "entirely online" Fallout in Fallout 76 and tells us they are working on the next Elder Scrolls. Microsoft pumps up their number of gaming studios under their hat and show us that they are still here to stay. Sony shows off The Last Of Us 2 and just lets the gameplay and teaser trailers roll without saying a thing. Devolver continued the madness that is their press conference...It just doesn't end, but we've put it all in on place for you to digest!

Outside of that Jon and Mike discuss their dive into BossKey's Radical Heights and its "Xtreme Early Access"-ness, PUBG's Event Mode that dropped and Fortnite's upcoming event that involves TWO busses!     On this episode Mike and Jon run through their thoughts on Ready Player One, the film and come to terms that even with all the different pop culture refernces, it wasn't AS BAD as they thought it would be. Mike took some time to see Greg Berlanti's Love,Simon, which turned out to be a really great film from the perspective of story and the cinematography. To round out the episode Mike and Jon give a rundown of what they are currently playing, Jon picked up the recent Ubisoft release of Far Cry 5 (Surprise! Its just like Far Cry!) and Mike has invested serious hours already into an indie game called Rimworld!
