Bitemojo has found a niche somewhere in between "traditional" tour apps and restaurant booking apps. BiteMojo runs as a self-guided tour of the city where, as part of the package, there are pre-paid small “bites”, along the way, catered by a network of partner restaurants. One journey for one passenger has the potential for complexity. Add a few friends or colleagues into the mix and the complexity explodes.  There are no gold standards in managing group trips. Much of this is processed manually by humans.
