Synopsis

My Brother George tells the story of two brothers. Their father leaves when they are children and their mother dies only a few years later. With no one to care for them, they are left to fend for themselves. George is a gifted athlete and dreams of being a professional footballer. John knows his older brother has the talent to succeed and would follow him anywhere. Together they plan to move North in search of a better life, as their father once promised their young mother they would.
It is a sad story in many ways but it is also a story of hope. It aims to teach us to treasure our loved ones, whether they are still with us or not.
