Episode #36 | Common Traits of Confident People Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/07/15/common-traits/ We often watch videos of inspirational and motivational speeches about confidence online. Some speakers break down the common traits of confident people while some show you themselves. You notice that there is an air of self-assurance and intelligence in their manner of approach and in their content. The humility and integrity in them just makes you admire them more and want to emulate them. And maybe that’s what you have to do. Two of the most impactful common traits of confident people are (1) they don’t hog the spotlight of conversations, and (2) they’re enablers. The more you spend time with confident people and the more time you try to emulate them, the peaceful you feel. By the following confidence, you will meet a better and calmer versio

  • Episode #35 | Be The Change You Want To See with Sudiksha Joshi

Episode #35 | Be The Change You Want To See with Sudiksha Joshi Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/07/12/guest-sudiksha-joshi/   In today’s podcast, I am with Sudiksha Joshi a learning advocate, who empowers youth to be the change that they would want to be. Sudiksha Joshi helps students be better at their career path and to fully recognize their capacity to do more in the tasks that they’re given and by doing so would understand their true calling. We all need training and education, but the answer will always lie within us.   At kindergarten, we were always taught to color within the lines and not mess it up. At middle school, rankings in academic performances restrict our perception of what we can achieve and are capable of. We forget to question things and instead just follow whatever it is we are told. And we take it until we’re adults. We grew scared of fail

  • Episode #34 | Are You Too Self-Critical? It Could Be Draining Your Confidence

    08/07/2019 Duration: 12min

Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/07/08/self-critical/ In today’s podcast, I talked about Self Evaluation: Confidence and Self-Critic. Confidence is a combination of mirroring your inner critic and supporter altogether. Self-analysis allows us to know ourselves better and take responsibility for our choices and decisions. Just a balance of evaluation of the pros and cons of circumstances can preserve our confidence. It gets you a clearer vision of what your goal is and the steps needed to achieve it. If the balance is not kept well, it may be detrimental to your perception of yourself. Being too critical can overpower self-trust with fear. And fear often hinders you from exploring things.   Self Evaluation: Confidence and Self-Critic helps you exercise integrity and responsibility. When you analyze yourself in whatever circumstances you’ve gone through or would want to go through, you’d realize that you have no one to blame for the outcomes but yourself. You have to understand that there’s on

  • Episode #32 | I'm Okay, You're Okay

    01/07/2019 Duration: 11min

Episode #32 | I'm Okay, You're Okay   Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/06/30/i'm-okay/   In today’s live podcast, I try to introduce Venus Warriors to more women and elaborate on the vision of this movement. Everyone has different problems that they face on a daily basis and healing from the emotional, physical and spiritual damage that these circumstances inflict does not happen in just 24 hours. It takes time and process, and respect with the changes that should be committed to, to finally say, at the end of the day, that I’m okay, you’re okay.   Every single person has their own standard of their absolute best. But leaders see beyond this standard,  they see potential, both tapped and untapped. And that’s what sets leaders apart. They guide and join you in recognizing that your absolute best might still have something to improve, and slowly, you start to see that you are capable of doing more things.   In this podcast, we also cover: 1:22 - Healing Wounds 2:35 - I’m okay, you’re okay. 3:0

Episode #31 | Navigate to Empower: Verbal and Emotional Imprints   Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/06/28/navigate-to-empower-with-robin-joy-meyers/   I started Venus Warriors as a movement to empower more women to speak up for themselves and be the best versions of the persons they are meant to be. Women who have gone through so much in their lives to the point of losing their passion and purpose can still find their way back on track. With the help of just the right amount of support from people who understand this pain and this calling, they can get back on their feet and find the courage to try again.   In today’s podcast, Robin and I talked about her business, Navigate to Empower. Robin works on helping women overcome their fear of judgment and be able to speak their minds comfortably. It takes soul searching and deep understanding that one has got to respect the path she journeys on. It’s not the same with everybody, and so is incomparable and should not be paralleled but only respecte

Episode #30| Refusing to Quit - My Journey As A Venus Warrior   Show Transcription: https://venuswarriors.com/2019/06/24/refusing-to-quit/   In today’s podcast, everything is about refusing to quit. All the great people we know reached their status because they persevered and they refused to give up. Venus Warriors provides an avenue for women to remember their forgotten dream and reignite that spark within them once again. It’s finding that buried passion and bringing them back to life. It’s finding purpose and living the best life one can ever have and be proud of.   I created Venus Warriors with a clear vision in mind. I believe all women are strong-willed and independent at some point, if not at most points, in their lives, but somehow along the way, we have forgotten that. It maybe attributed to a lot of factors like taking care of children, being a good wife to our husband, being too engrossed with work, etc. Whatever the reasons are, it is important for us to regain that self-confidence we once had, to
