    Listen as George Muha interviews Gary Vesper, owner of Driven Fitness & Performance in Succasunna, about his experience helping athletes to become impact players on the field/court.  Along with Gary is professional basketball player Monty Boykins.  Boykins grew up in Western Ohio where he was a highly touted basketball recruit.  After suffering a season ending ACL injury during his senior year of high school, he faced a huge setback to his basketball life.  He dug deep and continued to have a successful career at Lafayette College.  Again he suffered an injury (shoulder this time) his senior year in college which allowed him to get another year of eligibility.  He took that opportunity to enroll at Pitt for a postgraduate degree and play for the Panthers.  He's just finished a season playing abroad and is working with Gary and Driven Fitness to make a run at playing for the NBA D-League.  You may recognize the Boykins name as he is the eldest brother of Julian and Chandler, both of home had fantastic athl

    Every year, Morris Sussex Sports publishes it’s postseason football awards as a way to honor all of the players and memorialize the season that just was. Early on, we would affectionately call this team the “All Unruly Team” and some people still refer to these awards as that. Officially the All Morris Sussex Team, this is our way to tip our cap to the players, coaches, cheerleaders, fans, parents, marching band members and families that have dedicated themselves to this year.   • Park Hockey's Mike Shauger's Journey Through Injury Back to the Ice

    In this episode, George Muha interviews Hanover Park hockey and lacrosse player Michael Shauger who talks about his athletic journey and his recent recovery from injury. With him on the podcast are Professional Physical Therapy and Training's Matthew Riordan and Jay Rosania who talk first hand about Shauger's resiliency through his physical therapy journey. Shauger went to Professional Physical Therapy and Training for low back pain, bilateral hip tightness and pain, and right shoulder pain (possible SLAP lesion). He initially complained of his lower back and hips constantly feeling tight and painful, noting achy pain and tension on a daily basis. His goals are to resolve his low back pain, loosen up his hips, and return to ice hockey without pain or discomfort. He attended other physical therapy facilities but found that he was not getting the care and individualized attention that he found at Professional Physical and Training and he sites how the difference in care made all the difference in the world.
