18/10/2015[Note: This recording includes Keith Green's "Prodigal Son Suite" before the sermon, and a time of prayer and music after the sermon.] This message focuses on the older brother. What will you do about the older brother who lives in your heart, as the Father is pleading with you to come into his joy?

11/10/2015[NOTE: This recording includes a time of silent prayer and closing song after the sermon.] We continue our sermon series in the Gospel of Luke. We are spending a month on the Parable of the Prodigal Son, in Luke 15:11-32. It is a parable of grace, with 3 characters: a father, his older son, and his younger son. Oh, and you and I are in the story, too... So far, we have talked about "Running Away" and "Remembering the Father's House," from verses 11-19. We invite you to listen expectantly. What does the Father want to do about the prodigals you love who are far from His arms? And what are the things that are keeping you out of the Father's arms?

28/09/2015We will continue our sermon series in the Gospel of Luke. We have arrived at the Parable of the Prodigal Son, in Luke 15:11-32. We are going to slow down and spend a month on this story. It is a parable of grace from start to finish, with 3 characters: a father, his older son, and his younger son. Its themes are timely for us as a church. It is good food for our hearts. It turns on a light for our souls. If we can see ourselves in this story, it will help us come to terms with our own hearts, and will help us enter into the very heart of God. This Sunday I will preach the first of four sermons on this parable, Part 1: "Running Away," from verses 11-13. Pastor John
