We would normally think of a giant as something big and scary. Pastor Jeff teaches us today how comfort can be a giant in our life that prevents us from growing in Christ and realizing His plan for our life. We need to get up off the couch and get started on the things God wants us to do.

Pastor Jeff reminds us of the importance of embracing our identity in Christ to battle the giant of rejection.

We all have giants or struggles and problems that we face in life, but true freedom from our struggles comes from putting all of our faith in Jesus and knowing that ultimately God is greater than any giant we may face.

The book of Proverbs has multiple warning for "sluggards." What is a sluggard? What happens to sluggards? More importantly, do we have slug-like qualities that we should be dealing with in our lives? Pastor Jeff has a straight forward challenge for us.

Pastor Steve reminds us that as followers of Christ we are all called to be “fishers of men,” and we can only do that if we are willing to "drop our nets" and follow him into the life he has for us.

The Gospel of Luke, and the Grinch, give us some warnings for how we can miss what is important about the Christmas Season.

Throughout our lives in order to be closer with and hear answers from God we must be devoted to prayer consistently, care for others with wisdom, and share our faith and the gospel with grace.

Our time at work can be a significant portion of our lives. Not surprisingly, the Bible has a lot to say about how we should handle ourselves at work. Colossians gives instructions to both employees and employers.

When we put each other first, we win. This is especially true in our marriages, and the Bible has some very clear direction for us in this area.

Wear the "clothes", or live by the attributes, that we are called to portray that Jesus provided us all an example of. We need to show others compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and above all else: love.

When we become believers in Christ we can give up our old ways that separated us from Him.

There are three types of "scams" that scammers will tell us will create our relationship with God, but ultimately it is important to remember that our relationship with God is done. We don't have to do anything to deserve relationship with God besides believe in him and walk in relationship with him.

Pursuing Jesus is a life long pursuit and along the way we will get pulled in different directions away from Him, but in the end the only true fulfillment we can get is through Jesus.

Who is Jesus?

In his letter to the Colassians Paul warns about a couple of dangers creeping into the Church. His message was critical to them and critical to us today.

We are, as a community, better together when we pursue authentic time with one another in order to build up our relationships both with each other and with Jesus.
