Attack From Both Sides

As we're in the sale season, we hold out to discuss PUBG's impact and carve out some special appreciation for Pyre. 

So this episode was recorded a while back and it may not be very up to date but now it is here. A summer sized of all things. 

We are back and there is a lot to catch up on. So we start off with our takeaway on this year's E3 and what held up from it. Then we trade our impressions on Nier: Automata and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.   

Draw out the cards because we are going to the past and future of Persona. 

We fill in with the newest releases of the month and there's a lot already.

With spring here for a little while, we approach Persona 4 and get very anime about it. Bits of reported Joy-Con issues and John Wick: Chapter 2 included as well. 

The change of weather got to us and we went around the news of Steam Direct and Boost Mode before spending quality time with Resident Evil 7 and capping off with our favourite on-going tv shows.

Some news did happen in the month, so after Playdead's tease and reports, we go on to think about what makes a horror game good and unique. Then, well then there's the Nintendo Switch breakdown. 

With a new year and winter's dry grip upon us, we talk about Scalebound getting cancelled, CES stolen laptops, and our time with Resident Evil 7, Dark Souls 3. Guess it is a bit gloomy.   

Time for our game(s) of the year. 

For this episode, special guest Mohsin Anwaar joins to try and make some sense out of gaming awards and all the major reveals that happened. In also continuing with 2016's FPS year, COD: Infinite Warfare goes to space while DOOM keeps it rip and tear. 

As the sales week passes by, we detail the experience with Titanfall 2's campaign and consider about Final Fantasy, The Last Guardian, Voice Acting and some catching up on Black Mirror.

The post-smog week has us pondering over Mass Effect and nature documentaries. Special guest Mussa Malik then guides us through the Battlefield. 

Let's switch things up Nintendo style? Red Dead Redemption 2, DualShock4, VR, audio interference and much more on this episode. 

To start off we deliberate on Mafia III's release. Then this news of sound design and the human skull. Some other stuff in between, but making sure Black Mirror hype is in check. 

After revisiting Valve's Black Mesa Research Facility and DOTA 2 we get down to a having a conversation on what we think about them now and spare some minutes for what else is up.  

With having some days off we decide to catch up on finishing Spec Ops, upcoming BioShock Collection, Apple going Mario, new PS4s and 0 to 100 deadpan anime.  

This time around we venture deep into No Man's Sky. An account then on the special bits of Kentucky Route Zero's Act IV. The news front features some consideration of PS4 slim reports and CD Projekt Red's success. Lastly, we go over the busiest period of anticipated releases.

Maybe we're back in order but nothing is stopping us sharing what we think about No Man's Sky pre-release. Hitman with all its craze has become an absolute bloody hit. Finally, from what was gone from the last show now comes as a double-refresh on Undertale.  

Inside this episode there are quick soundbites on Inside, Denuvo protection and Pokemon GO. Some thoughts over why The Lobster, Hitman and recent Overwatch sticks. Also, everything is literally one-sided.
