What a joy it was to interview The Amazing Kreskin! I remember watching The Amazing Kreskin when I was a little girl. I remember trying to figure out how this guy was doing what he was doing? It appeared to me that he was reading a person's mind...was he psychic? No, Kreskin is quick to point out that he is not a psychic because he cannot see into the future but that he is an entertainer who can read other people's thoughts...in real time. He was inspired at the age of 9 by Lee Falk's famous comic strip Mandrake the Magician, which featured a crime-fighting stage magician and he decided that that was who he was going to become. Kreskin still has that showman's flair, a comedian's wit and yes he is also a thought reader. Throughout his lifetime he has made numerous appearances on Johnny Carson, Regis Philbin, David Letterman and most recently Jimmy Fallon, Neil Cavuto and Howard Stern.
