Romans 2:4 As we interact with our culture, Christians should seek to represent God's kindness and grace. As people struggle with issues in life, some raise the question of gender identity, with hopes of "fixing" what is broken. Scripture makes it clear that God created us as male or female. It's sanctification that enables us to become all that God created us to be, not the world's attempts to relieve our struggles. Even so, we need to have empathy towards others.
