Brad Steiger - Brad Steiger claims to have written his first book at age seven but doesn’t claim it as his first published book. His first book, Ghosts, Ghouls and Other Peculiar People, was published in 1965. He became a full-time writer by 1967. He has authored/co-authored almost 170 books, which have sold 17 million copies. I mention that he wrote the bestseller Strangers from the Skies about UFOs because I remember sitting in high school study hall reading this book rather than the biology text that I was supposed to be reading. I have known Brad for decades and remember calling him many years ago to ask about a specific case of a mysterious disappearance from the early 20th Century. He told me it was a hoax. Since that time, I have followed his career and note that we sometimes argue about who has written the most books about UFOs. I believe it was he and he believes it is me.
