When I was in elementary school, my mom was super active in the PTA and it seemed she was always walking the halls of the schools doing something. Of course I had no idea what she was doing, but secretly I loved having “my mom” at school. I fell in love with running, jumping, tumbling and playing sports at an early age. When I was a kid, most of our play and sports was unorganized and led by us, the kids. Our folks didn’t drive us to the fields. We didn’t have uniforms.
