Animal Wellness Veterinarian Dr. Karen Becker

Dr. Bartges is a world-renowned expert in veterinary internal medicine, specifi­cally kidney and urinary issues in both dogs and cats. He's also a board-certified veterinary nutritionist. He's originally from West Virginia and graduated from Marshall University in Huntington. Dr. Bartges attended veterinary school at UGA and completed his residencies, PhD and postdoctoral work at the University of Minnesota. In addition to UGA, Dr. Bartges has been on the faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He was also in private practice for a few years and taught at Cornell University.
