Rima Truchanas learned to swim in Tasmania's Lake Pedder and watched on with her family when 50 years ago it drowned to make way for the Hydro-Electric Scheme . Her early life was shaped by her parent’s involvement in the campaign to save it. Now, there are plans to restore the Lake to its former glory.  Frances Green has produced a documentary for RN's History Listen about the campaign which spearheaded the Greens political movement in Australia.
