Welcome to our Sunday morning service. This morning Pastor Gary Barber is preaching on Luke 5:-27-39, “Jesus – Friend of Sinners & Unsettling Initiator.” We are going to see today how Jesus truly did “not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (Matthew 9:13). And as He walked among men He brought change that was not always welcome. We will see how this tension between the old and the new has continued throughout church history as new work has always required new methods, expressions, and structures. Are you willing to let Jesus change you? Are we, His Church, willing to let Jesus change us? We are thankful you have joined us and we know you will be blessed by this message, encouraged in your walk with the Lord, and ministered to by the Holy Spirit. Today is Communion Sunday.
