Welcome to The Oaks Community Church Sunday morning worship service. We are so glad you could join us. This morning Pastor Gary Barber is preaching on Luke 6:27-38, “Be Merciful As Your Father Is Merciful.” Today’s message is like last week’s message—like going into a sauna. It is a shock to your system, but when it’s over you realize it is good for you. What Jesus taught us that God requires us to do is contrary to our natural responses, and so is hard. Jesus had some hard teachings. As Pastor Gary will say, this may be His hardest, so be ready to be challenged. However, this is an exciting message, and we know you will be blessed, encouraged in your walk with the Lord, and ministered to by the Holy Spirit.
