Informações:

Synopsis

In this, the second part of a two-part series of talks with Canadian-born speechwriter, John R. Harris, we focus on his three-year stint speech writing for Carlos Ghosn, the famous Brazilian-born Lebanese businessman and former chairman and CEO of Nissan who was arrested on allegations of false accounting, for which he spent over 100 days in solitary confinement and more than a year under house arrest in Tokyo before fleeing the country and becoming an internationally wanted fugitive. As noted in the episode, John was also featured in HBR IdeaCast / Episode 800: The Rise and Fall of Carlos Ghosn: Part 3.  The outro was 月の砂漠, of which there are many versions, but I chose the one by 山崎ハコ. The outro was Tanuki by Kazuhiko Kato. The intro was my own original mashup of Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star), a few anime sound bites, some kabuki, a cheap recording of my son’s Buzz Lightyear toy, and “Dubstep" from BenSound. Got something to say?
