Episode 79: Controlling Your Desire For The Local Sexton

Informações:

Synopsis

Lindsay Christians, who covers theater and more for The Capital Times, joins us this week to compare notes on five plays currently running at American Players Theatre in Spring Green. We talk about why Lindsay thinks 'Much Ado About Nothing' is the season's standout so far, in addition to 'Romeo And Juliet,' 'The Importance Of Being Earnest,' 'The Year Of Magical Thinking,' and 'American Buffalo.' Lindsay also talks about how the mostly classically focused company is stretching out by embracing more contemporary material, and how she wishes it would stretch out still further. Plus, the ups and downs of this year's wigs and crazy robes. Four more plays in the season have yet to open; the next, 'The Seagull,' opens August 1.
