An accordion, guitars, a mandolin and energetic singing make of Cochon Bleu (English: Blue Pig) one of Holland's most promising bands. A brilliant mixture of traditional American-French songs with original compositions, the band is known for its unique way of performing Cajun music, one of the emblematic music styles of Louisiana. The music by Cochon Bleu is also marked by a great sense of humor and wit, a characteristic of their enthusiastic performances that have captivated the public in renowned festivals such as Folkwoods, EuroSonic, Noorderzon, De Parade and Oerol. During the fifteen years Cochon Bleu has been playing together they have released five albums that have received a warm welcome by the public.
