Claudia Braun talks about the gremlins in her closet. Discussing her messed up relationship with food from about 10 years old, Claudia says food was a place she ‘hid out,’ it was her private world, food kept her feeling safe and protected but it also prevented her from putting herself out into the world. That place of using food had her feeling not good about herself and the more she ate the worse she felt. As she got older it consumed her, from trying to fix her problem or being caught up in the problem.  Claudia said there’s a quote by Albert Einstein that says, ‘The mind that caused the problem, cannot fix the problem.’ This made her think.
