Turning points in life can often occur as a result of outside forces and events, beyond our control. This was the case for Darlene Corbett, who for 25 years had a robust practice of providing psychotherapy and hypnotherapy to adults through their life cycle. With her husband’s health problems and moving cities, and death of her Mother, she recognized her message needed expanding by speaking, writing blogs and articles. Eventually, her blogs came to the attention of a publisher, then, writing a book and becoming a professional member in the National Speakers Association she realised both happened in her sixtieth year on earth.
