The Bookies are a book club podcast.  This episode, we read and discussed Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which is the first book in the much loved Harry Potter series. This story revolves around young Harry Potter, a neglected orphan who lives with his aunt and uncle in England. Everything changes one day when he receives a letter, inviting him to attend the prestigious wizarding school Hogwarts.   His life is turned upside down as he enters a world of magic and mayhem as he discovers that he is famous in the world of wizards. Travel along with us as Harry makes new friends, battles evil, and finds where he truly belongs in the world!
