Part two of update 1.1. We pick up the tempo on this disc, but it’s not all banging stompers as there are a few blissed-out moments courtesy of Chicane and Way Out West. And I still love the deep phat ‘Huff and Puff’ track. With appearances from the likes of BT and Paul van Dyke, alongside tracks from BBE and Natural Born Grooves, you can see how this pumped-up yet euphoric sound was a precursor to the 1999 trance explosion (with a little help from Mitsubishis...). Those latter two tracks remind me of a Manchester Mardi Gras when Key 103 sponsored an event at GMEX - a particularly messy evening! Favourite of favourites here though is the closing Moonman tune.
