I can’t really remember the story behind this mix which was recorded when I lived in Chorlton, Manchester. I think I wanted to pull together a selection of the different loops and grooves and riffs that had guided my taste through the recent years. The session journeys through funky house grooves, through fat speed garage b-lines, to a handful of pre-trance up-tempo favourites. I love the total recall track. I think it was in a box of 12s that got nicked when I was moving to London.
