There’s a lot of Haitian people who resides in DR. Some of them don’t have the proper paperwork to live in Dominican Republic. Consequently many of them have been mistreated and send back to Haiti. Unfortunately many Dominican have been misinformed about their history of the island thru the school system and Catholic Church.
