Hi, it's Mo here with a conversation with Kenya Barris, the creator and showrunner of the ABC comedy "Black-ish." We talked about the Feb. 24 episode of the show, in which the Johnson family has a series of conversations about police brutality and how to discuss it with the younger Johnson kids. We also discussed the racial landscape of TV and what has and hasn't changed there, and we talked about "Black-ish" in general and what makes it such a strong and versatile addition to the television landscape. About halfway through, executive producer Jonathan Groff joined the conversation as well.
