In this interview, Dr. David Gray discusses his research into motivational communication techniques in the mid-twentieth century, and his use of materials from the National Association of Manufacturers collection in the Hagley Library for his project. Dr. Gray is a visiting assistant professor of American Studies at Oklahoma State University. This interview was conducted as part of the Hagley Center's Stories from the Stacks project.
