The End Is Always Near By Dan Carlin This book flection is written and narrated by Leigh Martinuzzi Dan Carlin is the host and creator of the award-winning podcast Hardcore History. It’s a podcast that I have heard many people comment favourably about and on occasions found myself tunning in myself. As the title suggested it is hardcore not only in the history and content that is shared but also most episodes run no less than 3 hours. This book comes off the back of his podcast which I think many fans and publishers have been wanting him to write for some time. It is also very in-depth and what I appreciated was that it was a great deal more digestible as each chapter discusses and shares thoughts on a unique topic. Dan assesses history to better understand the landscape of things today and into the future. Thought-provoking and at times inspiring I find Dan’s curiosity and perspectives shifting the way I previously thought about certain topics and even raising a few new questions that I otherwise wouldn’
