This week we use John 6:35-51 to take a peek back at the underlying context of John 6 and Jesus' “Bread of Life” speech, the Exodus story found in Exodus 14-17. If we are to properly understand what is happening in John 6 we must understand the backstory that Jesus is hi-lighting for us.   The Gospel of John is the second stop on our 52-week journey through the story of Scripture focusing on the theme of New Creation.
