Stolen Lunches Bible Study

Daily Devotion:   Many of us expect a 'pat on the back' after a good deed.  But, what if the "Thank you" & "Good job" never comes?  This tiny trick of the devil can steer us away from our destiny if we constantly expect to be rewarded every time.  We will begin to allow for negative thoughts to fester like, "maybe they didn't like it or maybe I did a bad job?"   It's important to stay focussed on the mission and remind yourself of the "why". Why did you decide to do the good deed in the first place.  That's all that matters anyways.  Never forget, God is your ultimate rewarder.   Hebrews 11:6, "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him." If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing.
